How We’re Helping

Our kids are back to learning and Booster Pak is here to make sure they come to school ready to learn. We have programs in every building in the West Des Moines School District. Our goal is that no student goes hungry.

Here are the ways we’re helping:

  • Onsite Learners – Students may register for Booster Pak programs by contacting their guidance counselor or school office for a registration form. Once the completed form is returned to school, learners will begin receiving a pak. If your school is closed due to Covid-19, we will work with your school to deliver additional paks when learning returns onsite or we will make paks available through a designated Grab-N-Go site.
  • Online Learners – Registration forms are available through Nutrition Services or at your designated Grab-N-Go site. If you opt for onsite learning, your registration form will be forwarded to your onsite school.
  • Family Paks – If your family is in need of emergency assistance, we can arrange to have a family pak delivered to your school or make arrangements for you to pick up food from one our our pantries at Valley, Walnut Creek or the Learning Resource Center.
